After experiencing severe fever and vivid dreams, I researched surrealism and delved into my subconscious, focusing on bright colours and bizarre scenery. I experimented with placing people and objects where they don’t belong, concentrating on balance, colour and composition. As colour was an integral theme in this project, I carefully considered colour theory and how certain colours convey different emotions.
